Let’s leave our comfort zone behind and venture into the untamed wilderness.

In the world today, there are only a few remaining precious places where nature in its purest form still exists. I travel to these very special wilderness spots to refill my energy reserves and reconnect with my deepest human roots. These trips provide endless wonder and inspiration for me. My hope is that, using my passion for wildlife photography, I can share some of my most profound experiences with you.

heart beats for Africa and its wildlife

I have always felt a special bond with animals and nature. The happiest moments of my childhood were spent exploring the woods and fields near the Swiss village where I grew up. And I never missed wildlife documentaries on television. My favourite ones were about Africa. “Some day, I will go there, too!“ I promised myself, but it wasn’t until I was well into adulthood that this dream finally came true.

 

Since my first trip to Namibia in 2007, I have returned almost every year to the fascinating wilderness of Africa’s national parks – in Namibia, Botswana, Zambia and Zimbabwe – to name only a few.

The unspoiled nature in these wild places never fails to fulfil and inspire me – and sometimes the beauty of it all almost breaks my heart.
